Techincal guide: the Rosin-Rammler-Sperling-Bennet (RRSB) distribution

Any process starts with the raw material characterisation and a key input is always the particle size distribution (PSD) of the feedstock.

More often than not that information is difficult to obtain and so the Rosin-Rammler-Sperling-Bennet (RRSB) distribution is generally accepted as a good starting point to get an idea about the PSD.

In this technical guide we summarise the concept and explain how to derive two possible PSD curves under some assumptions.
